Inhabitants' practices were tested on the project to better respond to the comfort of use and the quality of living in this new active city centre.
The parking area was transformed into a pedestrian forecourt. Long ashlar steps have been created, linking the forecourt to a large esplanade. Large whistle-stop steps provide access to a ramp for people with reduced mobility to the future city service centres on the ground floor.
A quiet space has been designed below the main road with a garden enlivened by a fountain bordering the steps.
