The Jean-Jaurès market square is a strategic point, marking the entrance to the town centre. Today, this square is entirely dedicated to cars and its contours are mainly constrained by the RD229 road. It is by consulting the various historical plans, comparing them with more recent plans and observing the evolution of the urban fabric that we have found the lines of force that orientate and guide our proposal.

The outline of the square are concentrated in the middle of the space to bring to light its intensity. The base of the hall reveals the slight slope of the ground through its horizontality. Slender lines of trees punctuate the space and extend the grid of trees in the surrounding park. They thus create a quality void ready to accommodate a small market hall that participates in the animation of this space, on market days as well as on other days.
